To increase the business
value of IT by promoting the personal development of
people in the IT division so that they deliver the right
technology at the right time at the right cost.
Stretch Learning consulted
with the Global Learning Manager for IT on how their new
People Development portal could more effectively engage
a wider audience within the IT community. Stretch
Learning helped the division with promoting a
"one-stop-shop" for learning and developing
their people using highly participative engagement
sessions which were to be rolled out across five
continents.
The organisation had
invested a substantial amount in the technology and
needed to raise the take up rate for using this tool to
give the organisation a significant return on
investment. The initial success criteria was 20% take up
and within a month of the launch more than 29% of the
people who had attended the engagement sessions had
already used the system.
